Faithful Translations is the result of a lifelong dream shared by two sisters, Selina and Gaby. World travelers and language enthusiasts, they have explored diverse cultures and developed a deep appreciation for the nuances of communication. Together, they bring their collective experience and passion to bridge linguistic gaps and connect people worldwide.
Selina Viesca
Co-Founder & Lead Translator
Selina was born in Monterrey, Mexico, and holds a bachelor’s in Marketing from ITESM (Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey). Her translation career began over 20 years ago, working for her father's stainless-steel business where she translated operating manuals and managed communication with American clients. Her passion for languages was further enriched by a year-long exchange program in the United States in 2000, where she immersed herself in the language and culture. In 2004, she further honed her linguistic skills by studying French in Lille, France.

A life-long volunteer at the church and a ministry leader, Selina is passionate about faithfully conveying messages that require a deep understanding of the Biblical text and the cultural contexts of the audiences they reach. Her latest work includes the translation of a 250-page ministry manual for domestic abuse survivors, which will be distributed to churches and support groups across Latin-America.

Selina currently resides in Monterrey, Mexico, with her family. She enjoys exploring the outdoors and spending time with her three children.
Gaby Viesca

Gaby brings over 15 years of experience as a writer, minister, and business strategist. She holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business from Universidad de las Americas and a master’s degree in Biblical Studies from Regent University. An experienced bilingual writer, her work has been featured in Christianity Today, Missio Alliance, and Perspectivas.
As a business consultant, Gaby has designed global strategies for General Electric, worked as junior consultant in southern Mexico, and promoted several start-ups with young entrepreneurs in the city of Puebla. As a pastor, she has worked in full-time ministry in Israel, Mexico, and the Pacific Northwest, serving regularly as live-interpreter and translator between English and Spanish.

Gaby has been living in the United States for the past 13 years and currently lives in Portland, OR with her husband, Daniel, and their son, Elliot.
